1.3 Information Generated by the Service

  • Metadata: EXIF data extracted from your photos and videos (location, date, camera model).
  • Machine learning data: facial recognition tags, object classifications, and search indexes generated from Your Content. This data is processed and stored exclusively within your managed instance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Process transactions and send billing-related communications.
  • Provide photo and video backup, organization, and sharing features.
  • Power machine learning features such as facial recognition and smart search.
  • Send technical notices, security alerts, and support messages.
  • Respond to your requests and provide customer support.
  • Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve user experience.
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or fraud.

3. Your Photos and Media

We take your media privacy very seriously:

  • We do not view, scan, or analyze your photos and videos for advertising purposes.
  • We do not sell your media or use it to train external AI models.
  • We do not share your photos or videos with third parties.
  • Machine learning processing (facial recognition, object detection) happens exclusively within your managed instance and is never shared externally.
  • Your media is stored encrypted and access is strictly limited to authorized infrastructure processes.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Your data is hosted on secure cloud infrastructure with geographic redundancy.
  • We implement industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for data in transit.
  • Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 encryption.
  • Photos and videos are stored in isolated storage volumes dedicated to your instance.
  • We perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
  • Automated backups ensure your media is protected against data loss.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information or media. We may share limited account data with:

  • Service providers: third-party vendors who assist in operating the Service (e.g., payment processing, hosting infrastructure). These providers never have access to your photos or videos.
  • Legal requirements: when required by law, regulation, or legal process.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with prior notice.

6. Data Retention

  • Account data and media are retained for the duration of your subscription.
  • Upon account deletion, all personal data and media are permanently removed within 30 days.
  • Billing records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by law.
  • Anonymized usage data may be retained indefinitely for analytics.
  • You may export all your data at any time through the Service.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
